It is not uncommon for summer temperatures locally (East of San Francisco Bay Area) to hit triple digits, and what better time to have some fun with tropical flowers, particularly if you are entertaining outdoors. Tropical flowers are a special order item for our shop, so we suggest you order tropicals a few days in advance so we can be sure to gather a nice selection for you from the market. We can arrange these beauties in more of a long and low style arrangement to be used as a centerpiece for a dining table or coffee table, or we can arrange more of a vertical, tall style of design for an entry table or buffet table. We suggest a starting price of $75, but an average price range for tropicals is $100-200. A heavy container is recommended for stems such as hanging heliconia, birds of paradise or king protea and these varieties lend themselves better to larger arrangements.
